This is the perfect trip for hardcore anglers looking to target trophy or high numbers of Peacock Bass. We’ll run farther, fish harder, and catch more fish. I do not recommend this trip for kids or inexperienced anglers. This trip is also ideal if you want to target Peacock Bass exclusively with artificial lures or on fly tackle.

This trip is perfect for those looking to check Peacock Bass off their bucket list but who are on a budget or don’t have time for a half-day trip. I highly recommend bringing two dozen live shiners to ensure your success. I don't sell shiners but will gladly pick them up for you at market price: $12.50 per dozen (as of 9/2025).
